Cheesy Broccoli Pockets     by Pam Mason
Ingredients
1 package (10 oz) thawed chopped broccoli
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 clove garlic
turkey or regular pepperoni
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 jarred roasted peppers chopped or  fresh red pepper chopped
1 tablespoon McCormick  classic Pizza seasoning
1 loaf frozen bread dough thawed
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. grease 2 baking sheets.
Step 2
In a medium large pan heat oil and saute garlic (add fresh peppers)  for 2 minutes and broccoli  cook with lid till broccoli is slightly tender.
Step 3
Thinly slice 1/2cup  of pepperoni and in a large bowl combine this along with broccoli mixture, Parmesan, Peppers, pizza seasoning.  Mix well!
Step 4
On a lightly floured surface, divide dough into 8 pieces; roll out each piece to form a 6-inch circle.  Spoon out an equal amount of broccoli mixture in the center of each circle.  Fold dough over filling to form a half circle.  Press edges with a fork to seal; prick a few  holes in pocket tops.
Step 5
You can either freeze these and bring them out for a quick nutritious meal OR  place pockets on prepared baking sheets.  Bake until golden, about 25 minutes. Serve immediately.
If your family does like these you can get creative and make pizza pockets, ham and cheese or whatever you can think of.  I use a bag of bread loaves and make a bunch of them (with the kids help) and freeze them. I bring them out when I don't feel like cooking with a can of soup.
