My name is Pastor Seth Hemme and I have been serving as the Associate Pastor of Discipleship at Zion since 2010. I am involved with many things at Zion, including preaching, teaching, visitation, and working with the youth of the congregation. It is great to share God’s love in Jesus with the people here at Zion. I grew up near St. Louis, Missouri and attended college at Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois. I went to Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, and was placed at a congregation in the Detroit area after graduation in 2004. There I met my wife Patty, who was a teacher at the Lutheran school of the congregation. We are blessed with two children, Hannah and Matthew. My wife teaches Science and Algebra at Zion. I love learning about new things, reading, and enjoy spending time with my family.
My name is Colett Dominowski. I am the School Administrator at Zion. I am a graduate of Alma College with a degree in Business Administration and worked on my Early Childhood education at Delta College. I have been a member at Zion since 2006. My true pride and joy are my family; husband-Mike, sons- Tyler & Andrew, and daughter-Molly. My children all attend Zion Lutheran School. I love spending time with my family, camping, hunting, fishing, and just being outdoors. It's wonderful to see God's love spread through Zion's students and staff each year as we grow and learn together.
Greetings! My name is Jeffrey Gledhill. This is my second year in my new adventure at Zion Beaver, and I am just as ecstatic as my first day, and feeling more and more blessed every day. I attended Concordia University in River Forest, IL, and Concordia University in Ann Arbor, MI. I have taught 8 years; 7 of which have been in Lutheran education. The greatest thrill I get from teaching is seeing the light bulb go off when a student gets excited about grasping a concept. I feel the most accomplished when I have given them the tools of self-discovery through class-expectations, exploration, and repetition. I also thoroughly enjoy making learning fun. I believe an enjoyable environment is a motivated environment. Science is my favorite subject to teach. Partly because it so synonymous with the wonders that God has given us- just waiting for us to discover. I teach very impulsively as well – grabbing a teaching moment out of anything. Along with my teaching responsibilities for 5th/6th grade, I am also the youth choir director, and the bell choir director. I enjoy spending my free time playing guitar, or piano, or just spending time with my son, Jayden – who attends Zion as well. By the grace of God, I greatly look forward to being an integral part of this church and school-family for a long time.
My name is Bonnie Jammer. Since my graduation from Concordia Teachers College in 1979 I have taught 1-2nd grade at Trinity Lutheran, Manistee and 3rd grade at Immanuel, Bay City, and in 1990 was blessed to “come home” to teach at Zion, the congregation where I was born and raised. I love being able to share the love of our wonderful God at the school where I too heard of God’s plan of salvation and experienced His Love for me. I am thankful to be able to teach at a Lutheran school and be close to my parents, sisters, nephew, and niece, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. My interest in family history has led to a hobby in genealogy.
My name is Luanne Wegener. I have taught Kindergarten or 1st grade at Zion Beaver since 1980. Before that I taught Kindergarten in Milwaukee, WI for 3 years. It’s great to see the children learn to read, become more confident, and grow closer to their Lord Jesus. I’ve enjoyed teaching at Zion because it is family oriented and a close-knit community. Outside of school I like to travel, garden, read, bike, and shop for antiques.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.”

My name is Patty Hemme and I am the 7/8th grade science and algebra teacher at Zion Lutheran. I graduated from the University of Michigan with my BA in Elementary Education in 2002. In 2011 I received my MS in Science Education, also from U of M. I have a passion for teaching and strive to go above and beyond for my students. I work very hard to make sure they are receiving the very best education possible. My science classroom is full of hands on experiences that really help the students understand the content they are being taught. I want my students to have a lot of fun while they are learning. Teaching in a Lutheran school also gives me the wonderful opportunity to not only teach the subjects I love, but also to share the word of God with my students. This is truly a blessing for me. When I am not in the classroom, I love spending time with my wonderful husband and 2 beautiful children Hannah and Matthew. My husband is Pastor Hemme, the Associate Pastor here at Zion. In my spare time I love doing fun things with my children, running, and playing volleyball.
My name is Lauren Moeller. I have the privilege of teaching General Music to Grades 3-8, directing the choir for that same age group, and also leading the 7/8 Handbell Choir. I graduated from Concordia College in Seward, NE and came to St. Johns in Midland to teach 3rd Grade. My husband Paul and I have 2 grown sons that we like to visit. Our oldest son lives in Chicago and our youngest son lives in Mississippi with his wife. Each summer we return to Nebraska to visit my mother and 3 sisters.
